Data Deletion

1. Your right to deletion

You can request deletion of your Black Cab Unite account and associated data at any time. This page explains what we delete, how long it takes, and how to make a request. This page is maintained by the Black Cab Unite team to answer common data deletion questions.

2. What is deleted

When you request account deletion, we delete or anonymise the following:

• Your user profile and authentication details.
• Your business profile and content preferences.
• All drafts, posts, captions, scheduling data, and approval history.
• Your Facebook Page connection, access token, and Page metadata.
• Publishing logs and event data linked to your account.

3. What is not deleted

We may retain limited information where required by law, for fraud prevention, or to resolve disputes. Any retained data is anonymised or kept only for the minimum time necessary.

4. How to request deletion

Send an email from the address associated with your account to:

Please include “Account and data deletion request” in the subject line. We will confirm receipt and process your request within 30 days.

5. Disconnecting Facebook only

If you only want to remove your Facebook Page connection but keep your Black Cab Unite account, you can do so from the Facebook Connection page inside the app. This immediately revokes our access to your Page and deletes the stored access token from our systems.

6. Facebook / Meta data deletion

Posts already published to your Facebook Page through Black Cab Unite are controlled by Facebook. Deleting your Black Cab Unite account does not remove posts from Facebook. To remove published content, please delete it directly on Facebook.
