1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using Black Cab Unite (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. These terms are maintained by the Black Cab Unite team to set clear rules for using the platform.

2. Description of service

Black Cab Unite is a content management tool that helps small businesses generate, review, schedule, and publish posts to Facebook Pages. Features include AI-assisted content drafting, approval workflows, a publishing calendar, and Facebook Page integration via Meta’s APIs.

3. Account registration and security

• You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep it up to date.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account or any other breach of security.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Post content that is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, or defamatory.
• Infringe any intellectual property or other proprietary rights.
• Send spam, phishing, or misleading communications.
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service or its underlying infrastructure.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service, other users’ accounts, or connected social accounts.

5. Facebook / Meta integration

When you connect a Facebook Page, you grant Black Cab Unite permission to publish approved posts on your behalf. You remain responsible for the content you approve and publish. Your use of Facebook is also subject to Meta’s Terms of Service and Platform Policies. We may remove or restrict Facebook features if Meta changes its APIs or policies.

6. Content and intellectual property

You retain ownership of any content you create, upload, or publish through the Service. By using the Service, you give us a limited licence to store, process, and transmit that content solely to provide the Service to you. We do not claim ownership of your content.

7. Subscription, billing, and cancellation

Paid features, if offered, will be described at signup or in your account settings. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled. You can cancel at any time from your account page; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Black Cab Unite and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim arising from the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us, if any, in the twelve months preceding the claim.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, if you violate these terms or if we discontinue the Service. You may also delete your account at any time. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately, and we will delete or anonymise your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy and Data Deletion guidelines.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date at the top of the page. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the updated terms.
